Option 1 (no additional cost): You are responsible for the first $1,000 of any damage to or loss of the vehicle. The standard deductible for damage to Enterprise CarShare vehicles is $1,000 (if the member is deemed to be ‘at fault’). Remember you can be responsible to damage for ‘bad luck’ like having a rock hit the windshield or getting ‘hit and run’ in a parking lot.
Option 2 (full damage waiver): Reduce your responsibility to $0 (full damage waiver) for only $90/year. To enroll, please sign up via My Account and the Summary tab in the Enterprise CarShare reservation site.
Option 3 (credit card): Use your eligible VISA, MasterCard or American Express Collision Loss Damage Insurance/Waiver coverage. Download the appropriate form and either scan & e-mail (infocanada@enterprisecarshare.ca), mail, fax (416.340.0080) or drop it off to us.
VISA Zero Deductible form For Canadian Gold or Platinum VISA cards
MasterCard Zero Deductible form For eligible Gold or Platinum Canadian MasterCards from Citi, CapitalONE, MBNA and Bank of Montreal Mosaik
Scotiabank Amex Deductible form only Scotiabank Amex currently extends coverage to carsharing
To review your deductible status, select ‘My Account’ on the regular reservation screen
You can lower your deductible to $0 and have a full waiver for damage included in your already low rates. Contact us to get more details and to include this option in your account.
Enterprise CarShare vehicles carry automobile insurance with limits of $1,000,000 for Third Party Liability, Accident Benefits with coverages and limits as required by provincial law, Uninsured/Underinsured coverage with the minimum limits as required by law and any other coverage required by provincial law.
